Willemijn Verkaik is a Dutch singer and actress. She's best known for her roles of Elphaba in Wicked, Ensemble in Elisabeth and Elsa in Frozen. She's multilingual, she can speak Dutch, English and German.

She was born in Son en Breugel, Netherlands, but grew up in Nuenen near Eindhoven, Netherlands.
She graduated from the Rotterdam Conservatory.
She married musician Bart van Hoof.
