  • This is the only Disney movie to be dubbed into Zulu language, as a tribute to the culture which inspired the movie. Most of the cast weren't professional actors and singers, they were local people in the community that were cast by the Disney USA team who went to South Africa to find the Zulu voices.
  • The extented scene of the Morning Report was never dubbed into Zulu. They've kept the original cut of the movie.
  • Victor Masondo was brought in for the singing of Scar when Robert Dlamini couldn't cope with the song.
