Biography[]

Lorena Villegas (December 3, 1976 - November 17, 2018) was a Mexican dubbing, theater, television actress, and communication specialist, known for being the recurring voice of Priscila Fantin, Joana in Moses and the Ten Commandments, Gloria in Modern Family from the eighth season to the tenth season of the series, Janine in the first two seasons of The Handmaid's Tale, Talita in El rico y Lázaro, among others.

She was married to another dubbing actor, Gabriel Ortiz, with whom she had a daughter; She was a close friend of fellow voice actors Mario Heras, Alexa Navarro, Jorge Palafox, Susana Romero, Dan Frausto, Alina Galindo and Marco Guerrero.

She died on November 17, 2018 in a domestic accident after being poisoned by a gas leak at her home.

Her remains currently rest in the Gayosso Memorial Park in her hometown, Naucalpan.
